Ilene Richardson's Artist Studio has been located on the East Coast of the USA for well over three decades. Endless creativity expressed in Glass Beads made in the flame, Sterling Silver Jewelry, and Original Designs in Stained Glass Windows. All of the artwork created is One-of-a-Kind from Original Designs. Drawing and Painting are the foundation of her work.

Stained Glass Windows
The Stained Glass Windows created are artistically cut from sheets of handmade glass, with life-like shadows and unique colors. These windows are created from drawing and focus on colors, shadow, and realistic representations of nature with all its creatures. Using hundreds of pieces of hand cut glass in each window, choosing glass pieces for their properties of color as the light passes through them, Ilene approaches stained glass the same as she approaches color in her paintings.
TRAVELS ~  I was a Traveling Artist for a while, exploring the rural, southwest coastal lands of Ireland to the New Mexico home of Georgia O'Keeffe and high mountain desert mecca of Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico, well over a decade ago and now, usually back home exploring the East Coast of the United States. The water is where I find inspiration, friendships and the best life has to offer. Of course, this is where I do the majority of my hands-on creativity along the East Coast of the USA, in my studio on the water.

Watercolors & drawings of mine are used for beginning sketches in stained glass, experimenting with light and colors. Concentrating on exploration of color relationships with how color schemes in nature coexist. This helps to develop designs based on unique travel experiences and local influences of waterfront nature, boats and life.

A personal thanks to all of you who have helped to make my creative journey possible, and to those people who had the vision and desire to enrich their lives with the artwork I have created over the years.

I can only hope that my art which has enriched my life creating it,

will enrich the lives of others for years to come.
